Infidelity often happens in society Balikpapan. Most of the affair was caused by excessive economic circumstances and environment are adequate. It is also often suspected because of the voodoo magic. The infidelity often cause stress on the wife, is seen from the emergence of concern if the husband goes to the outdoors, often angry and ill at ease at home. The purpose of this study was to determine the stress reaction of his wife because of infidelity the husband who allegedly caused voodoo magic. Symptoms of stress can be seen physically and behavior. Physical symptoms, such as breathing heavily, mouth and throat dry, moist hands, feel chills and heat, the muscles tense, tired unwarranted, headache and restlessness. While the symptoms through behavior, such as feeling confused, anxious and misunderstandings, difficulties in concentrating and loss of creativity. Stress is basically a condition of tension that affects emotions, thought processes and the condition of a person.
This research is a descriptive qualitative research using interview techniques to obtain research data. The research subjects in this study is the wives who experience stress because of infidelity the husband who allegedly due to voodoo magic, with the number two respondents. The results showed that stress reactions wife because of infidelity the husband who allegedly caused voodoo magic is largely the same, where the physical reactions that arise are lack of appetite and insomnia.
