The outcome of the project will be a 56,000 square foot Chicago Center for Piano, to be utilized for the practice, performance, education, and enjoyment of piano through practice rooms, a recital hall, and other performance spaces. An emphasis is placed on the optimization of acoustical qualities in architecture to meet specific instrumental criteria
