Nurettin Topçu; içinde yaşadığı cemiyetin sorunlarına yoğunlaşmış, derinlikli çözümler önermiş bir düşünürdür. Topçu, insanlığın ve özelde Türkiye’nin yaşadığı sorunları çeşitli cepheleriyle ele almaktadır. İktisadi, siyasi, itikadı ya da kültürel sahalarda bir takım tıkanıklıklara işaret etmekte, bunlara sebep olan amilleri masaya yatırmaktadır. Yazarın bütün sorunları, maddenin temsil etiği değerlerin ruhsal kıymetlere egemen olmasına irca ettiği söylenebilir. Yazarın önerdiği çözüm ise, maddeye karşı ruhun hâkimiyetini sağlayacak nizamın tesisinde aranmaktadır. İşte bu çalışmada Topçu külliyatı, mihveri olduğu düşünülen madde ve ruh kavramları bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle; Topçu’nun maddeye ve ruha yüklediği anlamlar aktarılmış, daha sonra Topçu düşüncesinin ana temaları olarak görülebilecek temel kavramlar bu eksende çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. İçerik analizi yöntemine uygun olarak, bu çalışmada hem Topçu külliyatının ana kavram haritası çıkartılmaya, hem de bütün bu kavramları organik bir bütünlük içinde değerlendirmeyi mümkün kılacak bir “okuma biçimi” geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu sayede, bir taraftan yazarın felsefesinin odak noktasına, diğer taraftan külliyatının sinir uçlarına temas etmek amaçlanmıştır.Nurettin Topçu is a philosopher who focuses on the problems of the society in which he lives and he proposes in-depth solutions. The author deals with the problems in various aspects that humanity -in particular, Turkey- encounters. He points to a number of deadlocks in economic, political, religious or cultural fields, and discusses the reasons that caused them. The author reducted it as: all the problems based on the values reprsented by matter are dominated by the spiritual values. The solution proposed by the author is the search for the establishment of an order to ensure the dominance of the soul against the matter. In this study, Topçu’s corpus is examined within the context of matter and soul concepts, which are thought to be the axis. Firstly, the meanings that Topçu imposed on matter and soul were transmitted and then the basic concepts that could be seen as the main themes of Topçu’s thought were attempted to be analyzed in this axis. In accordance with the content analysis method, in this study both the main concept map of the Topçu’s corpus has been extracted and a “readingstyle’ has been developed tomake it possible toevaluate all these concepts in an organic integrity.
