Professional competence of teachers is a condition, direction, values, goals and quality of expertise and authority in education and teaching related to the job someone who is a livelihood. The teacher is the teacher's own professional-quality, competence, and teachers who want to bring in academic achievement and be able to influence the teaching-learning process of students, which will result in student achievement is better. Competence of teachers who studied include four categories. First, the ability of teachers in planning teaching and learning programs. Second, the ability of teachers to master the lesson material. Third, the ability of teachers to implement and lead / manage the learning process. And fourth, the ability to assess the progress of the learning process.
