PENGARUH DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO (DER), RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE), DAN NET PROFIT MARGIN (NPM) TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN (STUDI KASUS PADA BANK KONVENSIONAL YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2015-2020)

Abstract

Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui laporan tahunan yang dipublikasikan oleh bank melalui website resmi bank pada periode 2015-2020. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu, untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari rasio Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) terhadap kebijakan dividen yang diukur dengan Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bank Konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 9 perusahaan dalam kurun waktu 2015-2020, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Return on Equity (ROE secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on dividend policy as measured by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). This research was conducted at conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples taken were 9 companies in the 2015-2020 period, using purposive sampling method and the analysis method used was multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Based on the results of research conducted that Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) simultaneously affect the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially has a positive effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Return on Equity (ROE partially has no effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), Net Profit Margin (NPM) partially has no effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR).Keywords: DER, ROE, NPM, DPR and Konvensional bank
