The Christ of St. John\u27s Gospel

Abstract

The purpose in writing this treatise on the Christ in St. John\u27s Gospel is most ably expressed by the Beloved Disciple himself when he says in his gospel 20,31, But these things are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus did so many things outside of those recorded in the gospels that John says, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written , 21,25. Therefore, with the help of God, the present writer, too, shall try to briefly show from this one gospel that Jesus, the son of Joseph and Mary, was also Christ, the promised Messiah and Son of God
