Resumo: O Objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma breve analise do setor de confecção da cidade de Jaraguá-Go, no âmbito de arranjo produtivo local (APL) e alguns efeitos deste na cadeia econômica e social no desenvolvimento do município. Metodologicamente este trabalho inicia-se com uma breve revisão da literatura sobre APL´s, depois, a caracterização do município e finalizando, os dados sobre esse setor na cidade. Foram feitas pesquisas de internet, Sindicatos Patronal das indústrias de Confecção e Sindicato dos(as) Costureiros(as), ambos de Goiás, bem como na Associação Comercial Local e Sebrae do município.Palavras-chave: Arranjo Produtivo Local; Indústria; Desenvolvimento e Políticas Públicas.Abstract: The objective of this work is to make a brief analysis of the garment industry of the city of Jaraguá-Go, within the scope of local productive arrangement (APL) and some effects of this in the economic and social chain in the development of the municipality. Methodologically, this work begins with a brief review of the literature on APL's, then the characterization of the municipality and finalizing the data on this sector in the city. Internet surveys were carried out, Trade Unions of the Sewing and Union industries of the Tailors (as), both from Goiás, as well as in the Local Commercial Association and Sebrae of the municipality.Keywords: Local Productive Arrangement; Industry; Development and Public Policies
