787-789Zeolite-Y encapsulated Mn-SALEN, Fe-SALEN and VO-SALEN complexes have been prepared and characterised by XRD, TGA, UV-Visible, IR and ESR spectra. They confirm the presence of complex inside the zeolite cages. These composites are found to be active redox catalysts. They hydroxylate phenol to the extent of 23-28 wt%
