Economic geography of regions in the Czech Republic

Abstract

katedra: KPE; rozsah: 98s., 5s. přílohThis thesis is devoted to the estimation of fourteen regions of the Czech Republic. First, the regions were generally characterized. Then an economic analysis and a briefly comparison of the region with each other were realized. The following part encloses the strongest Czech firms and branches they are concerning with. The third part of the work compares the regions from the point of their economic indicators since 2003. Further, the regions are valued in light of SWOT analysis - their Strenghts or Weaknesess, Opportunities and Threats. On the basis of these analysis, the five regions, which are the weakest, are chosen, for that there are suggested solutions for their repair in the last part. At the end of this work, the two proposals are chosen, which are financially evaluated.Tato diplomová práce se týká zhodnocení 14 krajů v České republice. Nejprve byly kraje obecně charakterizovány. Poté byla provedena ekonomická analýza a stručné porovnání jednotlivých krajů s ostatními. Následující část vymezuje nejsilnější české firmy a obory, kterými se zabývají. Třetí část práce porovnává kraje z hlediska jejich ekonomických ukazatelů od r. 2003. Dále jsou kraje hodnoceny z hlediska SWOT analýzy, jejich silné, slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby. Na základě analýzy je vybráno 5 ekonomicky nejslabších krajů, pro které jsou v poslední části navržena řešení pro jejich posílení. V závěru práce jsou vybrány 2 návrhy, které jsou finančně zhodnoceny
