AVANCES EN HORMIGÓN: SINERGIAS Y COLABORACIONES ENTRE UNIVERSIDADES Y CENTROS DE INVESTIGACIÓN = ADVANCES IN CONCRETE : SYNERGIES AND COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH CENTRES

Abstract

Universidades y Centros de Investigación son organismos que deben establecer una colaboración estrecha en los campos científico, técnico y cultural de interés común. Se exponen, a través de este artículo, algunas de las colaboraciones más importantes realizadas en el campo de la investigación en hormigones entre la Universidad San Pablo CEU y el Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción  Eduardo Torroja en la última década. A través de Convenios de Colaboración se han desarrollado diferentes trabajos relacionados con el estudio del comportamiento de diferentes tipos de hormigones sometidos a altas temperaturas. Esta colaboración ha permitido codirigir una Tesis Doctoral relativa al comportamiento a altas temperaturas de hormigones ligeros, así como obtener un ayudante de investigación mediante convocatoria pública de la Comunidad de Madrid para trabajos relacionados con esta temática. Es indispensable la colaboración entre la educación superior y la investigación para el avance del conocimiento en este campo.AbstractUniversities and Research Centres are organizations that must cooperate closely in scientific, technical and cultural fields of common interest. Through this article, some of the most important collaborations carried out in the field of concrete research between Universidad San Pablo CEU and the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences in the last decade are presented. Through Collaboration Agreements different works have been developed related to the study of the behaviour of different types of concrete subjected to high temperatures. This collaboration has made it possible to co-direct a Doctoral Thesis on the behaviour of lightweight concrete at high temperatures, as well as to obtain a research assistant through a public call from the Community of Madrid for works related to this topic. Collaboration between higher education and research is essential for the progress of knowledge in this field
