V teoretické části této diplomové práce vysvětlím základní pojmy klíčové pro pochopení celé práce. Rád bych zde vysvětlil teorii související s trhem elektrické energie v České republice a strategickou analýzou vnějšího prostředí. Zároveň zde budou nastíněny a uvedeny základní energetické pojmy, složení ceny elektrické energie, historie otevírání trhu s elektrickou energií, působnost Energetického regulačního úřadu a detaily cenového kalkulátoru. Dále se zaměřím na popsání jednotlivých nástrojů strategické analýzy vnějšího prostředí. V praktické části charakterizuji celé odvětví, provedu externí strategickou analýzu a srovnám konkrétní dodavatele elektrické energie domácnostem.In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis I will explain basic keywords for understanding the entire work. I would like to explain here the related theory of the electricity market in the Czech Republic and strategic analysis of the external environment. Also here will be indicated and introduced basic energy terms, composition of the electricity prices, history of the electricity market opening, activity of the Energy Regulatory Office and details of the price calculator. Further I will focus on description of the specific external analysis tools. In the practical part of this work I will characterize the whole industry, perform strategic analysis and compare specific suppliers of electricity to households
