Asuhan Keperawatan Jiwa Pada Pasien Skizofrenia Dengan Masalah Keperawatan Gangguan Persepsi Sensori : Halusinasi Penglihatan Di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Surakarta

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder that affects the feelings, thoughts, and behavior of individuals. One of the symptoms that often appear in people with mental disorders is visual hallucinations. Patients with visual hallucinations usually have symptoms of fear that are not clear, pointing in certain directions such as seeing images that don't exist, there are unpleasant experiences the patient and there is a history of dropping out of drugs or stopping taking drugs. The purpose of this scientific paper is to provide nursing care for schizophrenic patients with nursing problems with sensory perception disorders: visual hallucinations. Nursing care for schizophrenic patients with nursing problems with sensory perception disorders: visual hallucinations was given in the Larasati room of the Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital for 6 days in December 2021. The method used was a nursing care approach. From the results of the study, it was found that the client experienced visual hallucinations. After the client is given the implementation of the implementation strategy (SP), in SP 1, the client can control the hallucinations by rebuking their hallucinations. In SP 2, the client can control hallucinations by taking the medication regularly. In SP 3, the client can control hallucinations by conversing with other people. In SP 4, the client can control hallucinations with scheduled activities such as making the bed. So from the evaluation results obtained visual hallucinations resolved. Clients with hallucinations need good therapeutic communication. In carrying out nursing care, the nurse's role is needed to carry out intensive actions on clients. The role and support of the family are important too for the client's healing process
