Keeping a brand image of tourist service requires the best possible combination of the nature of supply, service quality and perceived price. Rural areas but offers a lot of profitable tourist items: pensions, camping and accommodation in peasant households can support a wide range of activities such as walks pedestre, cultural tourism, river tourism, fishing, hunting, horsemanship, winter sports, cycling etc. Key words: rural settlements, infrastructure development, rural tourism and agroturism A§ezarile rurale care sa ofere produse unice pe piata sunt mai putin numeroase. Pastrarea unei imagini de marca a prestatiei turistice necesita existenta unui raport optim intre natura ofertei, calitatea serviciilor §i pretul perceput. Spatiul rural ofera insa, o multime de elemente turistice profitabile: pensiunile, campingurile §i cazarea in gospodariile tarane§ti pot sustine o gama larga de activitati precum plimbari pedestre, turism cultural, turism fluvial, pescuit, vanatoare, echitatie, sporturi de iarna, cicloturism etc. Cuvinte cheie: a§ezarile rurale, dezvoltarea infrastructurii, turism rural §i agroturism
