LEIM, PAUL SENIOR File Bo. B-2R1 Paul Leim Senior was born in Trier, Germany October 20, 1835. Paul Senior received a good education in his native la.nd, and lea~rned the blacksmith's trade from his father. In 1865, Paul Senior came to the United States, a.nd came to St. Paul where he was employed one year in a blacksmith shop. In 1867, Paul Senior came to St. Cloud, and purchased a small farm on the Pl.easant Lake road five miles west of Sa.int Cloud. Paul Senior operated this fa.rm for several yea.rs and then moved to St. Cloud, and accepted employment working in the Bridgeman saw mill in lower town. Paul Senior was there employed for twenty-five years, after which time he retired. Paul Leim: nior was married July 2, 1872, to Magdeline Jasner daughter of Anton and Maria :u:. (Buscben) Ja.sper at St. Mary·• s Ohuroh. Rev. Meinulph Stukenkemper o. s. B. performed the wedding ceremony. Jlagdeline (Jasper) Leim was born February 27, 1854, at Jefferson City, Missouri. Her parents were native born Germans.i Tbree children were born Paul Senior and Magdeline (Jasper) Leim, they are: Ma thew, Paul J. , and J obanna.1 Mathew, born May 2, 1874, died March 30, 1901. Paul J., born April 6, 1877, died in October, 1910., Johanna, born June 24, 1880, is Mrs. Ralph E. Bradford of St. Cloud.· Paul Leim Senior aied December 13, 1922, and Magdeline (Jasper) Leim died November 28, 1934, both are buried· in Caiva.ry Cemetery St. Cloud.
