Abstract

For the past several years parents of pre-kindergarten children have shown more and more anxiety when considering whether or not children are mentally, physically and emotionally ready for kindergarten. Although the intensity of concern varies from parent to parent, most educators will agree that there have been some questionable practice in determining the readiness of children for kindergarten.
