Citycommercial bank plays an important role in promoting local economic development andsolving the financing difficulties of SMEs for decades. New things constantly challenge traditional banking business and patterns. Inthe face of severe environment, how to maintain the sustainable development and enhancethe competitiveness becomes a big problem of city commercial banks. Objective analysisand evaluation of city commercial bank competitiveness have great guiding significance formaking reasonable decisions. China has 145 city commercial banks by the end of 2013.This thesis select 86 banks whose financial data is complete as a data sample to studyChinese city commercial bank competitiveness conditions.Select 33 primary indexes based on the principle of comprehensiveness and availability.Using grey clustering model to devide indexes with high relational degree into one groupand keep 16 of them as evaluation indexes, which avoids subjectivity of screening index.Although there are a lot of city commercial bank competitiveness evaluation model, eachmodel has some defects. For example, the AHP to determine the index weight is toosubjective. The entropy method to determine the index weight is relatively simple.Thefactor analysis has requests for probability distribution of sample data, etc. This thesisrespectively adopts the variation coefficient method, multiple correlation coefficient method,maximum deviation method and entropy value method to determine the weight of 16indexes, and then employs linear weighting method to get the final weights. 33VII厦门大学博硕士论文摘要库第 一 节 引言第 一 节 引言1.1 研究背景城市商业银行是中国银行业不可缺少的一部分, 自从90年代第一家城商行建立以来,发展已日趋成熟. 截至2013 年末, 全国已有145家城商行, 但各城商行发展程度不一, 有的资产规模破万亿, 且成功上市, 如北京银行. 有的发展规模不足50亿, 如哈密银行. 不管是大型城商行还是小型城商行, 都在通过各种途径扩张资产规模, 以服务于地方和实体经济为使命, 不断提升自身竞争力, 已逐步发展成一个具有相当竞争实力和规模的银行阶层. 2013年, 我国经济增速继续放缓, 实体经济需求不足, 银行业流动性出现了前所未有的紧张、加上利率市场化改革深化、资本管制日益严格的大背景下, 银行业经营环境变得严峻, 一些资产规模相对较小的城商行承受了更大的压力. 那么客观分析和评价城商行的竞争力, 找出影响城商行竞争力的关键因素, 对引导处于激烈竞争环境中的城市商业银行抓住机遇、调整不足, 从而保持可持续发展有重大意义.我国四大国有银行和其他上市银行, 成立时间较早, 信息披露较全、数据容易获得,研究它们的学者较多, 目前为止已经获得了丰厚的成果. 焦瑾璞 [1] 是我国较早研究商业银行综合评价的学者, 他设计了我国银行业国际竞争力指标体系, 将银行竞争力分为现实、潜在竞争力和环境因素三个方面, 设计指标比较全面, 适用于大型商业银行. 此后,研究者们建立了各种各样的模型, 如张守凤 [2] 等建立了模糊多属性的商业银行竞争力评价模型, 迟国泰等将层次分析法 [3] 和灰色系统理论 [4] 用在了商业银行竞争力评价的问题上, 张筱峰、卢瑜 [5] 运用熵权法确定权重对上市商业银行竞争力进行实证分析, 余敏、余丽 [6] 基于因子分析法研究股份制商业银行竞争力等等, 都得到了较有效的结论.城市商业银行的研究发展相对缓慢, 模型也很单一, 大多是主成分和主因子分析, 且以某一区域的城商行为对象. 曹永栋和陆跃祥 [7] 在比较和参考国内外商业银行竞争力指标体1厦门大学博硕士论文摘要库第 一 节 引言系设定后, 结合我国国情, 设定了一套适合分析和评价城市商业银行竞争力的指标体系,为研究城市商业银行竞争力打下了基础. 雷鸣、陈凯环 [8] 和穆志超、水冰 [9]用因子分析法分别研究了长三角和西部地区城市商业银行竞争力情况, 钟月飞 [10]将层次分析法和因子分析法结合起来对浙江省13家城商行进行实证分析, 可见, 鲜少有将全国城市商业银行作为整体分析的, 本文将填补空缺.1.2 本文主要工作本文以全国城市商业银行为研究对象, 采用客观赋权法对城商行竞争力做出分析和评价.选取银行的规模性、盈利性、安全性、流动性、成长性五大影响因素作为一级指标, 而每个一级指标又包含几个二级指标, 这些二级指标隐藏的信息有一定的重复, 故利用灰色关联聚类法剔除相似性指标, 既精简了指标又不至于丢失大量原始信息, 最终保留了16个二级指标.为了研究各个指标对城市商业银行竞争力的重要与否, 摒弃了主观色彩太浓的层次分析法等一些主观赋权方法, 而是选择完全从样本数据本身出发的客观赋权法. 客观赋权法也多种多样, 若只是采用一种客观赋权方法, 则无法知道该方法是不是反映了数据真实情况, 本文采用变异系数法、复相关系数法、最大离差法、熵权法四种常用客观赋权法得到四种不同的指标权重, 通过对比发现, 四种方法赋权结果较为一致. 再根据方差最大化原则, 算出每种赋权方法的权重,
