Muscular glycogenosis is a disease resulting from genetical abnormalities altering an enzyme which is involved in glycogen metabolism. In addition to disorders of glycogenosis and glycolysis, there are other pathological processes such as alpha-glycosidase deficiency and diseases associated with abnormal polysaccharide structure.
