Magistrsko delo obravnava nadgradnjo oziroma dopolnitev informacijskega sistema za
upravljanje železniške infrastrukture Slovenskih železnic s ciljem zagotovitve organiziranega
zbiranja in vodenja razpoložljivih podatkov o železniški infrastrukturi na način, ki ga
omogoča sodobna informacijska tehnologija in internet.
Poleg opisa splošnih teoretičnih osnov geografskih informacijskih sistemov, delo analizira
pomanjkljivosti obstoječega geografskega informacijskega sistema (GIS) Slovenskih železnic
in predlaga njegovo nadgradnjo, ki je pogojena z novimi možnostmi sodobne informacijske
tehnologije in najnovejšimi zahtevami direktiv Evropskega Sveta (ES) na področju zbiranja
podatkov o železniški infrastrukturi. Nadgrajeni programski paket je implementiran na
odseku glavne železniške proge Pragersko – Središče – državna meja. Pri tem so upoštevane
zahteve ES po infrastrukturnem registru in programu omrežja, ki izhajajo iz direktiv prvega
železniškega paketa in direktive 2008/57/ES o interoperabilnosti železniškega sistema.
Dopolnjeni geografski informacijski sistem, implementiran na progi Pragersko-Središče,
omogoča pooblaščenim uporabnikom uporabo in pristop do celotnega obsega podatkov o
železniški infrastrukturi bodisi z osebnimi računalniki bodisi z mobilnimi napravami.Master\u27s Thesis is an upgrade or update the information system for the management of

In addition to a description of the theoretical foundations of geographic information systems,
analyze the shortcomings of the existing task GIS Slovenian Railways and the proposed
upgrade, which is subject to the new possibilities of modern information technologies and the
latest requirements of EC directives in the field of data collection infrastructure. The upgraded
software package is implemented on the section of the main Pragersko - Središče - the state
border. In doing so, takes into account the requirements of the EC at the register of
infrastructure and the network statement resulting from the directives of the first railway
package and the Directive 2008/57/EC on the interoperability of the rail system.
Upgraded geographic information system implemented to track Pragersko-Središče, allows
authorized users to use and access to the full range of information infrastructure on either PCs
or mobile devices
