Z nadgradnjo obstoječe rešitve za izdelavo kosovnic smo reševali problem velikega števila šifer končnih izdelkov in posledično tudi velikega števila kosovnic v podjetju Gorenje, Notranja oprema d. o. o.. Število šifer končnih izdelkov neprestano narašča zaradi širitve prodajnega programa in ponudbe novih izdelkov. To povzroča velik prirast števila kosovnic, izdelava katerih je po obstoječem načinu zelo zapletena in dolgotrajna. Rešitev za oba problema je uvedba t. i. variantne kosovnice oz. nadgradnja obstoječega načina izdelave kosovnic tako, da se ta kar najbolj približa modelu variantne kosovnice. Razvili smo model modificirane kosovnice in ga vpeljali v informacijski sistem. S to nadgradnjo smo zmanjšali število prodajnih šifer, poenostavili in skrajšali izdelavo kosovnic in vnos naročil, s tem pa povečali učinkovitost in odzivnost podjetja.Upgrading the current solution for preparation of bills of materials in Gorenje, Notranja Oprema Company, Ltd., we aimed to solve the problem of having a large number of final product codes, and therefore, a large number of bills of materials. As the production lines expand and new products become available, the number of product codes, as well as bills of materials, are continuously increasing. The production of the latter is both complicated and time-consuming under the current circumstances. To solve both problems, new, variant bill of materials could be introduced, or the production process updated to bring the bills of material as close as possible to the variant model. Model variant bill of materials was developed and incorporated into the information system. Upgrading, we managed to lower the number of product codes, make the production of bills of materials and order input faster and easier, and consequently, lower the response time of the company and increase its effectiveness
