Drug Safety in Children: Focus on hepatic concerns

Abstract

__Abstract__ As defined by World Health Organization (WHO), pharmacovigilance is the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem (adverse drug reactions, ADRs). The aims of pharmacovigilance are to improve patient care and patient safety in relation to the use of medicines and to support public health programmes by providing reliable, balanced information on the risk-benefit profile of medicines
