New entrants are likely and existing competitors are seeking ways to undermine current market share. Partnerships that are internally linked via a complex ‘ecosystem’ format is emerging. This web of competition and stakeholders requires extensive strategic planning to stay ahead of the competition. One firm that has successfully competed in this new industry is Yahoo! Incorporated.
