A NOVA evaluation found a reduction of the childrenö‚'s problems one year after the Family Group Conference. The evaluation shows a significant, positive development in the Family Group Conference cases. This pertains to a reduction in the social workerö‚'s assessment of how serious the cases were, and their assessment of increased interactional skills on the part of the parents. Also, a reduction of the childrenö‚'s problems was observed.NOVA researcher Sturla Falck has edited the report where athree-year project of implementing the method of Family Group Conferences in 44 municipalitiesin Norway is evaluated.
