Autori u studiji analiziraju kako se tri socioprofesionalne kategorije, zasnovane na unaprijed određenim kriterijima, razlikuju u odnosu na zavisne varijable. Između ostalog su otkrili da je socioprofesionalna struktura slovenskog stanovništva dosta nepovoljna; da je klasna struktura ambivalentna; da su statusna i politička pripadnost više kristalizirane; da su razlike između niže i srednje kategorije veće nego između srednje i više; da postoje značajne razlike između aktivnih i neaktivnih ispitanika. Autori objašnjavaju dobijene rezultate činjenicom da se odnosi u socijalizmu održavaju prije svega putem konvencija, dok je politička determinacija najvažniji aspekt društvenog života.Authors of the study observed how three socio-professional categories, based on criteria constructed in advance, differ according to dependent variables.
Among other things they discovered that the socio-professional structure of the population living in Slovenia is rather unfavorable; that the class structure is ambivalent; that status and political affiliation are more crystallized; that differences between the lower and middle categories is greater than between the middle and higher categories; that important differences exist between active and non-active respondents.
