Representação e auto-apresentação das mulheres artistas: reflexões para o ensino das artes visuais

Abstract

The present research focuses on the impact of images on the subjective and social construction of people, more specifically in relation of the ways of existing as a woman, and on how the teaching of visual arts can work in this sense as well as on the deconstruction of meanings. The objective is to analyze how the representations of bodies can be suffocating and at the same time to discuss how the artistic production of women can free us from such chains and show us new possibilities of existence, through selfpresentation. It is a bibliographic research with a brief report on a classroom experience to allude to the issues discussed. Therefore, there are no conclusions nor results but pathO presente artigo tem como foco temático o impacto das imagens na construção subjetiva e social das pessoas, mais especificamente em relação a formas de existir como mulher e em como o ensino das artes visuais pode funcionar neste sentido - e na quebra de sentidos. O objetivo é analisar como as representações dos corpos podem ser sufocantes e ao mesmo tempo discutir sobre como a produção artística das mulheres pode nos libertar de algumas amarras e nos mostrar novas possibilidades de existir, através da auto apresentação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica com um breve relato de experiência em sala de aula para aludir as questões discutidas. Desta forma, não há conclusões e resultados, apenas caminhos para reflexões na forma de ensinar e consumir a produção artística das mulheres
