Myth in the Ancient Drama and Its Symbolic Projections

Abstract

The student examines the antique myth in its classical dramatic form, the shifts and differences between the original form and the dramatic form of the myth. The student also examines the symbolic element of the situations in the myth. Contribution about a context of life and work of Sigmund Freud is an attempt to understand the structure of thinking on the borderline between science and art. In conclusion the student focuses on the terms guilt - punishment - forgiveness
