“GÊNERO” E “SEXUALIDADE” NA FORMAÇÃO EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA: UMA ANÁLISE DOS CURSOS DE LICENCIATURA DAS INSTITUIÇÕES DE ENSINO SUPERIOR PÚBLICAS DO RIO DE JANEIRO
ResumoO objetivo do estudo foi analisar como as temáticas do “gênero” e da “sexualidade” têm sido abordada nos cursos de Licenciatura em Educação Física das Instituições de Ensino Superior públicas do Rio de Janeiro. O estudo foi desenvolvido através da análise documental dos ementários de quatro instituições: UFRJ, UFRRJ, UFF e UERJ. A Análise do Conteúdo foi utilizada para interpretação dos dados. Os resultados indicam que após análise das 467 ementas, identificaram-se apenas quatro disciplinas (0,85%) que abordam as temáticas do “gênero” e/ou da “sexualidade” nos currículos de três das Instituições pesquisadas: “Gênero e Sexualidade na Escola” e “Estudos de Gênero na Educação Física Brasileira”, na UFF; “Núcleo de Ensino e Pesquisa I: corpo, cultura e sociedade”, na UFRRJ; e “Gênero e sexualidade na Educação Física e no Esporte”, na UFRJ. Concluímos que as referidas temáticas estão marginalizadas na formação superior em Educação Física, colaborando para o despreparo da abordagem das relações de gênero pelos docentes em sua futura intervenção pedagógica, dificultando o combate aos estereótipos, preconceitos e práticas de exclusão por gênero e sexualidade na Educação Física escolar.Palavras-chave: Educação Física, Escola, Gênero, Sexualidade. "GENDER" AND "SEXUALITY" IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION GRADUATION: AN ANALYSIS OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEEGRE COURSES OF PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN RIO DE JANEIROAbstractThe objective of this study was to examine how the themes of "gender" and "sexuality" has been addressed in Physical Education Deegre Courses of Public Higher Education Institutions in Rio de Janeiro. The study was carried out through the analysis of documents represented by the curriculum of four institutions: UFRJ, UFRRJ, UFF, and UERJ. The content analysis was used to interpret the data. The results indicate that the analysis of 467 menus, we identified only four disciplines, in three Institutions, that approach the themes of gender and/or sexuality in their curriculum: "Gender and Sexuality at School” and “Gender Studies in Brazilian Physical Education”, at UFF; "Teaching and Research Core I: Body, Culture and Society", at UFRRJ; and "Gender and Sexuality in Physical Education and Sport", at UFRJ. We conclude that these themes are marginalized in Physical Education Deegre Courses investigated, contributing to prejudice the approach of gender relations by the future teachers in their interventions, losing the fight against stereotypes, prejudice and exclusion practices by gender and sexuality in School Physical Education.Keywords: Physical Education, School, Gender, Sexuality
