Der Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit ist die Gühigkeit und die Zuvertässigkeit der Auswertunskala der Änderung von der Rhode Island Universität festzustellen. In dieser Studie wurde eine nichtprobabilistiche Probe von 105 raushgift süchtigen Männern von 18 bis 60 Jahrealt benutzt. Von diesen Kommen 91 aus den therapeutischen Gemeinshaften und 22 aus einem Zentrum der Stadt Trujillo. Die genennte Auswertungskala hat eine annehmbare Zuverässigkeit (Alpha Cronbach, r=81), ihre Gültigkeit wurde mite der Techink der forschenden Faktoren Analyse ausprobiert und es wurde ein empirischer Beweis des Bestehens von vier Änderungzutänden (Pre – anschavend, Anschauend, Handlung und Wartung) für diese Skala (URICA) gefunden.This research has as objective to identify the validity and reliability of the assessment scale of change of Rhode Island University. In this study, a non probabilistic sample of 105 psychoactive- substanceaddicts men was used, whose ages fluctuate between 18 to 60 years old, being 91 from therapeutic communities and 22 from the city of Trujillo. The assessment scale of change of Rhode Island University presents an acceptable reliability for having gotten through the Alpha Cronbach (r= .81) and its validity was proved with the Exploring Factorial Analysis technique finding empirical evidence that supports the existence of four stages of change (pre- contemplative, contemplative, action and maintenance) for the assessment scale of change of Rhode Island University proposed by their authors originally.La investigación tiene por objetivo identificar la validez y confiabilidad de la Escala de Evaluación del Cambio de la Universidad de Rhode Island. En este estudio se empleó una muestra no probabilística de 105 varones dependientes a sustancias psicoactivas, cuyas edades fluctúan entre los 18 y 60 años, siendo 91 de las Comunidades Terapéuticas y 22 de un Centro de día de la ciudad de Trujillo. La Escala de Evaluación del Cambio de la Universidad de Rhode Island presenta una confiabilidad aceptable por haber obtenido mediante el Alpha Cronbach (r = .81) y su validez de constructo se probó con la técnica de Análisis Factorial Exploratorio encontrándose evidencia empírica que apoya la existencia de cuatro Estadios de Cambio (Pre-contemplativa, Contemplativa, Acción y Mantenimiento) para la Escala de Evaluación del Cambio de la Universidad de Rhode Island (URICA) propuesto por sus autores originalmente
