Abstract
This essay aims to analyze the first developments of the linguistic turn in the Brazilian historiography. Considering the shortage of research in this field, I chose to make, first of all, a brief description of the emergence of the linguistic turn in general terms and, then, an analysis of some primary texts of Brazilian authors that relate, in different ways, to this theme.O objetivo deste ensaio é o de analisar os primeiros efeitos do giro linguístico na historiografia brasileira.
