Abstract
El siglo IV es un período de crecimiento y de influencia política de la Iglesia cristiana. Algunos Padres de la Iglesia se esfuerzan en refutar errores teológicos y dogmáticos y, de este modo, acabar con todo tipo de herejías disolventes. Entre estos heresiólogos se encuentra Epifanio de Salamina, quien en su Panarion describe y ataca a un grupo denominado “cainitas”, que sigue una obra llamada el Evangelio de Judas. En este trabajo se pretende analizar las certezas y/o falsedades que contiene la obra de Epifanio en relación con dicho evangelio.The fourth century was a period of growth and political influence of the Christian Church. Some Church Fathers worked to refute theological and dogmatic errors and in this way put an end to all kinds of heresies threatening a break-up. Among these was Epiphanius of Salamis, who in his Panarion describes and attacks a group called “Cainites”, who followed a work known as the Gospel of Judas. In this study an attempt is made to analyse the truths and falsehoods present in Epiphanius’ work relating to this gospel
