Getting old, falling ill and becoming dependent: the view of the elderly

Abstract

This study aims to know the experience of being an elderly person dependent-care by others. Known aspects related to the experience of dependents elderly, enables health professionals who provide care to this population, reflect about on a more humane form action, where are valued not only the biological aspects, but also, all the psychosocial issues that are linked to the process of illness in old age
