Prof.  Dr.  Mladen  Velev is  Dean  ofFaculty  of  Management,  TechnicalUniversity of Sofia, Bulgaria.He gained a PhD degree in 1989 and wasawarded the title of Associate Professor inthe  scientific  field  of  “Economics  andManagement”  in  199.  In  2006  he  wasgranted  the  title  of  Full  Professor  in  thescientific  field  of  “Organization  andManagement of Production”.He teaches the subjects of “Marketing”,“Management  of  Marketing”,  “MarketingCommunications”,  “Economics  of  theEnterprise” and others. He has been on specialization courses inEngland, Wales, Belgium, Germany, France,USA, Russia, Ukraine and other countries.    From 2001 to 2011 he was Head of theDepartment  of  “Economics,  IndustrialEngineering  and  Management”  at  theFaculty of Management and since 2011 hehas  been  the  Dean  of  the  Faculty  ofManagement at the Technical University. He has participated in a great number ofscientific research projects, both national andinternational,  in  the  field  of  marketing,management  and  economics  of  theenterprise.  He  has  also  taken  part  in  anumber of international educational projects.He has been involved in consultancy work.   He  has  more  than  150  scientificpublications, which include 17 textbooks and10 monographs.He is the Editor-in-Chief of the scientificjournal  of  “Industrial  Management”published by the Faculty of Management.He  is  the  Chair  of  the  BulgarianAssociation of Lecturers in Economics andManagement in Industry.
