Lane, Annual Proceed-ings of the Wyoming StateBar Association, 1 9 3 0 -1934, page 28). If thisbe true, the situation inColorado and Denver istruly encouraging. ThisAssociation, by a I m o s tunanimous vote, has recom-mended that the State As-sociation be integrated. Sim-ilar a c t i o n subsequentlytaken by other local asso-ciations makes it probablethat a "unified state bar"will soon exist. Our localAssociation, too, has stead-ily moved forward. Beinga local Association it can-not formally integrate. ButROBERT E. MORE during the past decade themonthly meetings have beenbetter attended, and thecommittees on programs have furnished stimulating subjects of discus-sion. At the same time the members have realized that prompt paymentof dues is a sine qua non of effective committee investigation and accom-plishment in such vital matters as the curbing of the unlawful practiceof the law, disciplinary measures, the selection of judges, fixing of judi-cial salaries, etc., as well as in the social gathering of members at ban-quets, outings, smokers and monthly meetings. The utility of a volun-tary local association depends upon the cooperation and enthusiasm ofits members, and the unselfish giving of time by committees. The pastadministration has been unusually fortunate in both of these respects,and grateful acknowledgment is hereby made. The Association is happyindeed in its choice of Ernest B. Fowler as President for the ensuingyear. The Association pledges to him its loyal support.
