Students willlearn the fundamentals of computer programming, including program logic, variable definition, input/output,error handling, looping, testing, etc.,  Students will also learn intermediate and advanced Excel skills,including creating custom functions, macros, and VBA code that extends the inherent capabilities of Excel.Students are expected to have foundation skills in Excel prior to the class, including recording macros, pivottables, intermediate functions (such as VLOOKUP), data cleansing functions, formulas with absolute andrelative references, and other skills from INFO 120 and 220 or a comparable course.This course reinforces the Information Systems program goals related to proficiency in softwaredevelopment and IT project management.CLASS POLICIES1/4/2018 Syllabus for INFO-360-01 Intro to Application Developmthttps://canvas.xavier.edu/courses/33331/assignments/syllabus 2/3Course Summary: Date Details1. It is the students responsibility to keep track of alldue dates.3. “All work submitted for academic evaluation must be the student’s own. Certainly, the activities of otherscholars will influence all students. However, the direct and unattributed use of another’s efforts isprohibited as is the use of any work untruthfully submitted as one’s own.” The penalty for violation of thispolicy will be a zero for that assignment if it is a first offense.
