A educação básica no século XXI: o projeto do organismo

Abstract

This article analyses the project called "Everybody for Education" from the perspective of hegemonic relations and their proposals for Basic Education. The article examines the role of the project in current Brazilian society as well as its insertion in the political-business movement in course in the country. This is done in an attempt to demonstrate the meaning of these proposals to mass education in Brazil. The theoretical-methodological framework for the study is based on Gramsci's ideas. The study points out that the political strengthening of the project "Everybody for Education" challenges the need to reflect critically about the education of the working class and also reflect about the foundations of educational policies in Brazil
