Abstract
The terminological pair knjižnica / biblioteka (English: library) have ben present in Slovenian library terminology for a long time. Excerption of technical and scientific texts has shown different patterns of usage and term formation, thus the aim of the paper is to analyse the occurence of these basic terms in various authorative sources and present an inventory of combined terms
