Steampunk and retro-futurism: results of contemporary social-temporal concerns

The historical and cultural context of 19th century – with its complex<br />and broad changes which deeply affected the human experiences – has inspired different youth groups in their contemporary cultural dynamics. This paper analyses some proposals of the steampunks, who elaborate creative narratives with retro-futuristic aesthetic.
