Calidad de la carne de dos tipos comerciales de conejos, albinos y conejos de ojos negros

Abstract

The objective of this work is to compare a strain of black-eyed rabbit with a standard commercial albino one closely related. Differences between lines have been found for several meat quality traits. These differences can be due to a different genetic background, different feeding or different rearing system. Here the purpose is not comparing two randomly selected lines, but two genetically closed lines differing in eye colour and contemporarily reared under the same environmental, management and feeding conditions. The working hypothesis is that the popular belief about a better quality of black-eyed rabbits is unjustified.L'objectiu d'aquest treball és comparar una taca de conill d'ulls negres amb un albí comercial estàndard estretament relacionat. S'han trobat diferències entre línies per a diversos trets de la qualitat de la carn. Aquestes diferències es poden deure a un fons genètic diferent, a una alimentació diferent o a un sistema de cria diferent. Aquí, el propòsit no és comparar dues línies seleccionades aleatòriament, sinó dues línies genèticament tancades que difereixen en el color dels ulls i que actualment es crien sota les mateixes condicions ambientals, de gestió i alimentació.
