Estudio e intervención en el aljibe romano del antiguo Monasterio de Montsant de Xàtiva (Valencia)

Abstract

[ES] El presente Proyecto Final de Grado en Arquitectura Técnica tiene por objeto el estudio y propuesta de conservación en el aljibe romano del antiguo monasterio de Montsant de Xàtiva. Se realiza un estudio histórico del elemento que consiste en investigar y documentarse de publicaciones existentes sobre la construcción y su entorno, además, se analiza la propia construcción. Para ello, se ha tratado de recopilar toda la información escrita sobre Montsant y su aljibe con el fin de conocer las tipologías edificatorias que se han alojado en el emplazamiento a lo largo de la historia y se ha analizado características propias del aljibe en cuanto a su tipología y materiales utilizados, así como la metrología empleada en su construcción con el fin de situarlo en un periodo histórico concreto. Por otro lado, se evalúa el estado de conservación actual mediante la realización de planos, fotografías e inspecciones visuales con el objetivo de localizar las lesiones existentes y ofrecer una propuesta de intervención. Se han realizado fichas de lesiones existentes, clasificadas por su tipología, el grado temporal de actuación necesario para intervenirlas, su localización y el método recomendado para subsanarlas.[EN] This final degree project in Building Architecture aims to study and mantenence proposal of the roman cistern of the old monastery of Monsant of Xativa. A historical study of the building is made to investigate and familiarise ourselves with publications of the building and its surroundings in addition to discussing the construction in itself. For this reason, all written information about Monsanto and its cistern has been collected with the aim to discover the different building typologies which have been erected throughout history. The characteristics of the cistern have been analysed according to its building typology and the constructive materials used, just like the metrology used in its construction with the goal locate the building in a concrete historical period. On the other hand, the current conservation status is assessed through the production of drawings, photographs, and visual inspections with the aim to locate damages and propose an intervention plan. File cards have been produced for existing damages, these have been classified by typology, timeframe degree of action necessary to intervene, their location and the recommended method to repair them.Blasco Suñer, R.
