HISTORY STUDY IMPORTS IX - XIII CENTURY
AND HOW THEY ARRIVE AT TERRITORY POLOTSK

Историографический обзор разделен на три основных этапа – дореволюционный, советский и современный. Проанализировано развитие изучения импортов в течение каждого указанного периода. Рассмотрены основные работы, посвященные вопросам импортов, торговли и торговых путей, даны их краткие характеристики. = In the paper is considered the history of researching trade ways and goods imported on the territory of
the Polotsk Land at IX–XIII centuries. The revue is divided by three basic periods – pre-revolutionary, Soviet
and contemporary ones. In the paper is analyzed the development of researches of imported goods during each
mentioned period. Also are pointed out the main researches and books dealing with this question
