Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang ikut dan yang tidak ikut organisasi kemahasiswaan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kausal komparatif dengan menggunakan desain tipe (a) yaitu group possesses characteristic dan group does not possess characteristic. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif statistik, uji normalitas, dan uji beda Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata IPK mahasiswa yang ikut organisasi sebesar 3.48 dengan nilai terendah 2.73 dan nilai tertinggi 3.88, sedangkan mahasiswa yang tidak ikut organisasi memiliki rata-rata nilai IPK 3.37 dengan nilai terendah 2.59 dan nilai tertinggi 3.75. Hasil uji beda Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai Z sebesar -3.283 dengan nilai signifikan 0.001<0.05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar antara mahasiswa yang ikut dan tidak ikut organisasi kemahasiswaan. Mahasiswa yang ikut organisasi kemahasiswaan cenderung memiliki IPK lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang tidak ikut organisasi kemahasiswaan. Kata kunci: mahasiswa organisasi, prestasi belajar Abstract The objective of this study is to determine the differences in learning achievement between students who participate and who do not participate in student organizations. This research belongs to the type of comparative causal research using the type A design, namely group possessing characteristic and group does not possess characteristic. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, normality tests, and Mann Whitney difference tests. The results showed that the average GPA of students who participating in the organization was 3.48 with the lowest score of 2.73 and the highest score of 3.88, while the students who did not join the organization have an average GPA of 3.37 with the lowest score of 2.59 and the highest score of 3.75. The results of the Mann Whitney difference test showed a value of Z of -3,283 with a significant value of 0.001<0.05. So that it can be concluded that there are significant differences in learning achievement between students who participated and do not participate in student organizations.
