Paul Feyerabend’s Philosophy of Science

Abstract

The paper aims to clarify Paul Feyerabend’s philosophy of science, a famous philosopher of science of the twentieth century. Through his works with the method of systematization, of logic – history, of comparison the paper comes to identify Feyerabend’s philosophy of science. Those are the rejection on the idea of positivism in its comparison with various scientific theories, the rejection on the monopoly of a scientific tradition or a kind of certain scientific practice. Feyerabend’s philosophy of science has its significance in advocating justice and freedom in knowledge, the openness and creativity of science and culture
