The article provides information about experimental studies that allow us to determine a number of patterns of the process of grinding materials with pressure relief. Based on the experimental data, a graph of the dependence of the relative humidity φ on the pressure of sharp steam is constructed. A calculation formula is derived for determining φ by summarizing the experimental data on moisture removal during grinding of purified Jerusalem artichoke pulp by instant pressure relief
