Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis, Konflik Kerja, dan Kompensasi Non Finansial Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Hotel Adiwana Resort Jembawan Kecamatan Ubud Kabupaten Gianyar

Abstract

Optimal performance is the dream of all companies, but performance will be achieved if the work process is carried out in accordance with operational standards. Employees are required to be able to carry out their assigned duties properly. All roles of employees in improving management functions are the responsibility of the leadership to encourage and motivate each subordinate to excel. To improve employee performance depends on the leadership style itself, conflicts experienced by employees at work and non-financial compensation. The formulation of the problems and objectives in this study were to determine the effect of democratic leadership styles, work conflicts and non-financial compensation on employee performance. The location of this research is at Hotel Adiwana Resort Jembawan Ubud, the sample used is 39 respondents. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the validity test, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, t test and F test. Based on the research results obtained the following results: (1) democratic leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance, the t value is 2.770 and sig 0.009. (2) work conflict has a significant negative effect on employee performance, the value of t - 3.167 and sig 0.003 is obtained. (3) non-financial compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, a obtained a value of t 3,216 and sig 0.003. (4) simultaneously democratic leadership style, work conflict and non-financial compensation have a significant effect on employee performance, the F value is 17.187 and the significance is 0.000. The magnitude of the influence of the independent variables on employee performance is 56.1%. The suggestion in this study is that the leader of the Hotel Adiwana Resort Jembawan Ubud is expected to always provide encouragement to employees, guide employees, provide promotional opportunities for employees and provide training to employees
