Participación de la familia y cuidadores, en el proceso educativo, como medio de mejora en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de tercer ciclo de cuatro centros educativos del distrito 07-02 del departamento de Cuscatlán.

Abstract

La educación es la mejor herencia que los padres pueden dejar a sus hijos y la participación de ellos es fundamental, es por ello que la “Participación de la familia y cuidadores, en el proceso educativo, como medio de mejora en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de tercer ciclo de cuatro centros educativos del distrito 07-02 del departamento de Cuscatlán”. La experiencia docente sobre la necesidad de la integración familiar; se planteó un objetivo general y 4 específicos. El marco teórico, define de forma documental la temática. El marco legal, regulan la participación que la familia adquiere desde la concepción del hijo. En el marco metodológico se describe el método utilizado para el desarrollo de la investigación, que permitieran recopilar datos para su posterior análisis estadístico; donde se obtuvo como resultado, que el bajo rendimiento académico es a consecuencia del poco acompañamiento de los padres a causa de: pertenecer a una familia monoparental, no usar correctamente las App y plataformas educativas, el confinamiento a causa de la pandemia, poseer un trabajo informal o encontrarse desempleados. Education is the best inheritance that parents can leave to their children, and their participation is fundamental in this process, that’s the main reason why the theme “Participation of the family and caregivers, in the educational process, as a means of improvement in the academic performance of third cycle students from four educational centers in district 07-02 of the department of Cuscatlán” has been chosen. Taking into account the experience as teachers in the labor field on the need for family integration; a general objective and 4 specific ones were set. The study has a theoretical framework, which defines and documents the selected subject matter. The legal framework regulates the participation and responsibilities that the family acquires from the conception of the child, including their academic training. The methodological framework describes the method used for the development of the research and the methodology implemented to collect data, taking into account that the research has a virtual nature due to the absence of the educational community in the institutions caused by the pandemic (COVID-19); It has decided to use virtual platforms that allow data to be collected for subsequent statistical analysis; this provided the following result, that the low academic performance is a consequence of the lack of parental support due to: belonging to a single-parent family, not using the App and educational platforms correctly, confinement because of the pandemic (COVID-19), having an informal job or find yourself unemployed
