ResuméFormålet med dette projekt er at undersøge sociolancens funktion og succeskriterier, samt hvad der adskiller sociolancen fra andre socialfaglige tilbud. Ud fra dette er der udarbejdet en problemformulering, der undersøger hvordan sociolancen i samarbejde med andre socialfaglige aktører kan hjælpe socialt udsatte borgere i København, mod rette behandlinger og tilbud. For at besvare problemstillingen har vi arbejdet tværfaligt med fagene sociologi og politologi, hvorfor vi har anvendt tre teorier inden for disse fagområder. Den første teori omhandler socialt arbejde i Danmark, som blandt andet forsøger at definere hvordan sociolancens medarbejdere agerer som socialarbejdere. Dernæst har vi anvendt sociologen Axel Honneths anerkendelsesteori, for at undersøge interaktionen mellem den socialfaglige medarbejder og borgeren. Slutvis har vi anvendt politologen Michael Lipskys teori om gadeplansbureaukrater, for at belyse hvordan sociolancemandskabet forsøger at anvende deres ekspertviden i praksis. Som følge af valgte teorier, har vi valgt to forskellige kvalitative metoder, for ligeledes at kunne besvare problemformuleringen. Den første metode som er anvendt, er semistrukturerede forskningsinterviews. Her har vi interviewet to socialfaglige i form af en sociolancefører og en afdelingsleder fra en natcafé i København. Derudover har vi valgt at anvende obersvationsstudiet, i form af en deltagende observatørvagt med sociolancen. Vi kan i dette projekt konkludere, at sociolancemandskabet gennem samarbejde, relationsarbejde og tid, adskiller sig fra andre socialfaglige tilbud. Disse faktorer medvirker i høj grad til, at sociolancens succeskriterier bliver indfriet, således de kan hjælpe borgerne mod de rette tilbud og behandlinger.The purpose of this study is to investigate the function and success criteria of the sociolance, and also what seperates the sociolance from other social services. Based on this, there has been formulated a problem that investigates how the sociolance, in cooperation with other social offers, is able to successfully help socially vulnerable citizens towards the right social services. We have worked interdisciplinary in order to answer the formulated problem, using the subjects sociology and political science. In addition to this, we have chosen three theories. The first theory, concerning social work in Denmark, defines how the workers of the sociolance act as social workers. Furthermore we have utilized the theory of recognition by the social scientist Axel Honneth, in order to examine the interaction between social worker and the vulnerable citizen. Finally, we have applied the theory on Street level Bureaucrats from the political scientist, Michael Lipsky, in order to investigate how the sociolance workers use their professional knowledge in a practical sense. As a result of the chosen theories, two qualitative methods have been used with the purpose of answering the formulated problem. The first method being the semi-structured interview, conducting interviews with two social workers, one being a sociolance worker and the other being a head of a shelter. In addition to the first method, we have chosen the method participant observation with the sociolance. The conclusion of the study finds that the sociolance is an extraordinary service, which operates through cooperation, relational work and a priority of time. Those are the factors, that separates the sociolance, from other social services. Furthermore these factors greatly contribute to fulfil the success criteria of the sociolance, in order to provide the vulnerable citizens the right treatment and help
