Dette projekt viser ved hjælp af TRIN-modellen, hvad automatiseret mobilitet er, og hvordan denne teknologi fungerer. Dette vises både med hensyn til teknologiens teknologiske artefakter, de større teknologiske systemer, som teknologien kan indlejres i, og de forskellige uforudsete konsekvenser, som teknologien kan provokere. Gennem dette vil kunstig intelligens og kommunikationssystemet Vehicle to Everything blive forklaret med hensyn til teknologien. Desuden analyserer og viser projektet ved hjælp af kvalitativ indholdsanalyse, hvordan det amerikanske transportministerium og Europa-Kommissionen forestiller sig fremtiden for automatiseret mobilitet i USA og i Europa, og hvordan disse visioner i øjeblikket afspejles i det virkelige verden i forskellige piloteksperimenter. Projektet vil yderligere konkludere, hvordan USA bringer sikkerhedsforskrifter i fare for at styrke innovation, mens EU fremkalder omhyggelig planlægnings- og sikkerhedsforanstaltninger, der bremser innovationsprocessen.This project shows, through the use of the TRIN-model what automated mobility is and how this technology works. This will be shown both in regard to the technology’s technological artifacts, the bigger technological systems, which the technology can be embedded in and the different unforeseen consequences, which the technology can provoke. Through this, artificial intelligence and the communication system Vehicle to Everything will be explained regarding the technology. Furthermore, the project analyses and shows, through the use of qualitative content analysis, how the United States Department of Transportation and the European commission envision the future for automated mobility in the US and in Europe, and how these visions are currently reflected in the real world in different pilot experiments. The project will further conclude how the US jeopardize safety regulations in order to enhance innovation, while the EU provoke careful planning and safety regulations, which slows the innovation process
