This paper examines the ethics and laws regarding the production and use of carbon nanomaterial in Denmark - more specifically C60 bucky balls, single- and multi walled carbon nanotubes. The paper lightly describes the composition of the carbon nanomaterials C60 bucky ball and carbon nanotubes (CNT), and the ways of producing these . Then we examined the toxicity of aforementioned nanomaterials in studies of mice (Both inhalation and direct injection into the bloodstream), and made an analysis of the risks regarding the use of them. After looking at the Danish laws regarding the production and use of these carbon nanomaterials, and the following analysis and discussion of the risks, we found that while the security regarding work with nanomaterial in Denmark is good, and has a cautionary feel to it; the security for the consumer does not reflect cautionary thinking, while the nanomaterials are still being tested for toxicity.
