The Legal Regulation of Inclusive Education in Serbia and Some Countries in the Region

Abstract

In the paper entitled The Legal Regulation of Inclusive Education in Serbia and Some Countries in the Region, authors Danilo Rončević and Aleksandar Antić analyze the legal framework of inclusive education in our country and compare basic regulations related to inclusion in the education systems in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The basic conclusion is that the right to inclusive education is implemented in the legal frameworks of all the aforementioned educational systems. Analysing the current situation in Serbia, the authors concluded that there are differences between the law and practice, i.e. that the regulatory provisions which refer to inclusive education are often not applied in practice. The authors propose certain measures which could make positive changes to the current situation of inclusive education in Serbia.Naziv zbirke: BBiblioteka „Pedagoška teorija i praksa
