This bachelor's thesis pursues Slovak geography textbooks for secondary schools in the aspects of their attitude towards environmental ethics. It investigates the ratio of differently oriented statements in particular textbooks. The statements are distributed into five principal categories of environmental ethics - anthropocentrism, theocentrism, biocentrism, ecocentrism and ethical evolution. The author compares the findings of this thesis with the findings of analogical thesis which dealt with Czech geography textbooks.Práce se zabývá hodnocením současných slovenských učebnic zeměpisu pro střední školy z hlediska environmentální etiky a zjišťuje zastoupení výroků, které jsou hodnoceny z pohledu pěti základních kategorií environmentální etiky v učebnicích - antropocentrismus, biocentrismus, teocentrismus, ekocentrismus a evoluční etika.
