Allegretto moderato – Allegro molto                 Kayla Bryan, from Guilford, Connecticut, is a junior at Lynn University Conservatory of Music where she studies violin with Elmar Oliveira. She began studying at The Hartt School Community Division at age four with Donna Ngai. Her achievements include winning the David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar Concerto Competition in 2014, Hamden Symphony Concerto Competition in 2016, Connecticut Youth Symphony Concerto Competition in 2016, American Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition in 2017, and Wallingford Symphony Concerto Competition in 2018. Kayla was the first place recipient of the Musical Club of Hartford Competition in 2017 and the Shoreline Arts Alliance Top Talent Award of 2018. She has worked with world-renowned artists such as Ilya Kaler, Andrés Cárdenes, Itamar Zorman, and Jan Sloman as well as Emerson String Quartet, Lions Gate Trio, Chiara String Quartet, and Jupiter String Quartet. Kayla has attended summer programs including the David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar, the Preludio program at Ithaca College, Greenwood Music Camp, the Cleveland Institute of Music ENCORE Program, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival.   Pianist Sheng-Yuan Kuan has performed at the Kennedy Center, Weill Recital Hall, Taiwan National Concert Hall, and Musikverein in Vienna. She has been a featured artist at the Heifetz International Music Institute, KUAF/Fulbright Summer Chamber Music Festival, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's Chamber Music by Candlelight series, Artscape Baltimore, the Sylvia Adalman Chamber Concert Series at Peabody Conservatory, Broward100, and various south Florida public library concert series.  Currently serving as staff collaborative pianist and affiliated faculty at Lynn University, Ms. Kuan is also a member of South Florida Chamber Ensemble, Scherzo Trio, and Femina Camera Trio. She holds degrees from the Yale School of Music, the Manhattan School of Music, and Peabody Conservatory. Her teachers have included Peter Frankl, Scott McCarrey and Constance Keene.
